Yes, they are all valid in the metropolitan area (Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo, Kuniainen).

Cheers for reminding me I even had a library card, might go and borrow some Engelbert Humpledumpledink records from the library in town! Aparently one of the city libraries has a very good music section. If anyone knows which library?

Hi

You really ought to use this amazing service the metropolitan area libraries have set up:

http://www.helmet.fi/screens/opacmenu.html

It's even in English! You can order anything from anywhere. If your local library is say Myyrmäki and the book you want is in Tikurila there's a 50c. charge. You'll need a PIN number for your card though. Go to your local library and ask them to give you one. You can choose the numbers yourself.

If the book you're after is on the shelf at your local you can even reserve it by phone. Just give them a call.

It's a brilliant service. Have a browse with that link above.
