Bank Norwegian

This Bank Norwegian stuff looks appealing - anyone have any experience with their services?

(They are 20% owned by the 'Norwegian' airline)

(I posted this BEFORE I saw their Mafia interest rate of 21.92%)

It seems to me more like a credit company than the actual bank, eg. you can get a credit card but cannot use as a regular deposit account.

Actually that would be the aspect of their operations I'd like to use - so interested if anyone has any experience. It seems as if they're offering an almost 'free lunch.' But the 'free lunch' becomes rather indigestible when one sees they have a 21.92% interest rate - but they are unclear of when and how such an egregious rate applies.

I didn't have trouble understanding when the rate applies. Basically from the due date of the invoice or immediately for some transactions. I have been testing their savings account and credit card and no problems so far.

OK - you're clever - I'm stupid.

++

All I and other stupid people has seen is this from their web page (their ONLY info on interest!):

Esim. maksulykkäyksen yhteydessä vuotoinen korko 21,92%, 1500 eur/12kk yhteensä 1668 eur.

Very detailed - and tells everything - yeah, right!

In any case - whatever might be the situation where they take 21.92% - that is Mafia/Outrageous amount!

It's all spelled out in their contract. You need to agree to it as part of the sign up process.

The contract references the price list which is here.

The rates are so high that you should always pay the invoice in full. There are indeed much better cards if you want to take longer term credit.

Once I saw 21.92% I wasn't tempted to look much further.

(S'Pamkki and OP are about 7%)

User can get interest free payment time of maximum 6 weeks for his invoice. The card is actually Visa, which makes it very useful.

and you also get cash point to fly with norwegian. Recently I booked a flight to southern europe, just paying with the cash points earned with the credit card. Basically a flight for free, never paid a penny in interests. This card is absolutely fantastic.
