Hello peeps!
I have just landed in Helsinki and am looking for voltage converters from 230 to 110v so I can use Canadian appliances and electronics. I almost never find any answers when I google. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Voltage converters
Voltage converters are huge and expensive. Are you sure you aren’t looking for plug converters for devices that work on both Finnish and Canadian voltage?saabnarayan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:46 pmI have just landed in Helsinki and am looking for voltage converters from 230 to 110v so I can use Canadian appliances and electronics. Re: Voltage converters
You are looking at big transformer then most likely. Appliances sound like 1kW+ stuff and that means 1500VA+ transformer and they are decent size boxes. I wouldn't want one of those in my kitchen.saabnarayan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:46 pmHello peeps!

Re: Voltage converters
Neah not plug converters. I have quite a few of them for phone or laptop. However I am definitely looking for box sized transformers and yes around 1500w which can be used for 550w blenders and I definitely do not mind the size. And I am totally aware of how big they are. Recommendations on where I can get them would be great. Thanks.

Google "jännitteenmuunnin 110v" and you'll get a few places that sell them.
