I got a letter saying I was approved for Kela today. Despite submitting my application in English, the letter was entirely in Finnish, but my wife read me the more important details.
One detail not listed, though, is when the card comes. Do I have to fill out a separate application for the card that I show at the doctor?
Approved for Kela, but no card

I put "card" in search box at kela.fi and got: https://www.kela.fi/web/en/kela-card?in ... irect=trueundertakerfreak wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:33 pmI got a letter saying I was approved for Kela today. I read this as well, but the approval letter said nothing about the card, so I wondered if there was something else I had to do. Why would they omit information about the physical card from the letter which tells you you're approved in the first place? I don't get it.

I am in the same boat as OP. Got approved but no card. Maybe it just takes a while for the card to be manufactured? Interested in knowing!

Actually it came in today for me in a separate mail. How long has it been since approval?
