Any idea how to change the current postpaid mobile subscription to a pre-paid solution? Based on reading the other post of FF

Does prepaid help in that case? The scammers get the company information from the official register.

And they send paper bills with a crapload of stuff written in small font behind them whether you did order something on the phone or not.. I've dealt with few of those.Hämeen Hitain wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 10:27 amDoes prepaid help in that case? The scammers get the company information from the official register.

Best to ask your service provider. Technically it is possible to transfer a number to another subscription, which they may or may not offer between pre-paid and other subscription types.network_engineer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 9:52 amAny idea how to change the current postpaid mobile subscription to a pre-paid solution? If these /&% are targetting based on the numbers, prepaid does not have subscriber/ customer information, so ... how exactly are they going to send the bill to? Unless, one gives them the full name/ address & post-code, and IIRC also the SSN. Isn't that so?

Prepaids don't have that information, but try to set up a company without name, number and address. Companies also don't have SSN and they are not covered by consumer protection laws.network_engineer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:33 pmIf these /&% are targetting based on the numbers, prepaid does not have subscriber/ customer information, so ... how exactly are they going to send the bill to?
