Where are the wet wipes / babe wipes in Finland?? I have checked everywhere!
They're like tissues / kitchen papers but plastic and packed wet and do not dissolve in water. Perfect as disposable rag.

Re: Wet wipes?
They are terrible for the environment so it would not surprise me if you could not find them here. Also not so necessary when everywhere has a bidet.
Re: Wet wipes?
yes, it's a funny question to ask since people in countries where they do exist have woken up to what they really are (plastic based) and the damage to the environment they cause. If they never made it to Finland before then it's a good thing and the door is now firmly shut to them.
Re: Wet wipes?
Actually, even Serla (known for "nature friendly" toilet paper) has a product called kostea siivousliina. I'd imagine stores have them with cleaning supplies.
But wet wipes or kosteuspyyhkeet are commonly found in the toiletries section with other personal hygiene products.

A well known Finnish brand is SAVETT. that will help you to localise them.

For general cleaning? Try Lidl: https://images.app.goo.gl/4E2jtnecvdpzCM7h9

Re: Wet wipes?
This is only based on publicity from sewer cleaning crews ... they tend to get flushed and then form a solid mass trapping other objects and grease. They are apparently a major component of the notorious "fatbergs".
People don't tend to flush rigid plastic containers, even the non-reusable ones. And I don't suppose wet wipes are worse than plastic containers in landfill.
Re: Wet wipes?
They are in every supermarket. Just check the baby/diaper section. All the main brands are available
Re: Wet wipes?
Finally found them! They have smaller packs here, like 30, no US brands I could recognize and no baby picture on top.
A bit expensive but anyway I just wash and reuse them until dark. Thanks a lot!!
