Hello!
I’m an Eu citizen wishing to integrate in Finland, I would like to continue to stay in Finland to do my job searches but I have a few more days left, which after I will exceed the period of 90 days... Currently, I’m living at my friend in Finland, which can provide me with the accommodations, but can't help me with the registration of residence. At the moment I’m still a job seeker, ”with sufficient resources” to support myself but I need to be little bit more restricted with my budget since I have only expenditures...
What are the consequences if I will continue to stay in Finland to do my job searches after 90 days without resident registration?
Any helpful stories of similar experiences if someone could share, I will would appreciate it a lot.

https://migri.fi/en/faq-eu-citizensIf you stay in Finland without a break for over three months and do not apply for registration you are committing a violation of the Aliens Act for which you can get a fine. It is enough that you submit an application within three months of your arrival in Finland. It does not matter whether the decision is made within three months.

And day trip to Estonia resets that 90 days.

Are you sure about it? I am asking because someone told me that one (EU citizens/Non-EU citizens with EU residence permit..US/AUS/Japanese/korean etc.) can stay in any EU country for 90 days in every 6 months, i.e. twice a year without registration of residence. The information I was given might be wrong. Therefore, it would be great if you could share it here any links regarding it.

Re: Eu citizen wishing to integrate in Finland
I think that u dont need to register as long as u dont have an address. Doesn't make much sense otherwise. I've also stayed more than 90 days in other EU countries traveling. Also they cant check ur passport anyway since we dont get stamps in the EU.
When I have registered for the residence permit I had to fill out the date of entry but since I came to Finland per hitchhiking from Norway I didn't know the exact date anymore nor had a proof for it. It was never questioned anyway.
Thing is that u only get kela benefits 6 month after u registered.
