Hi guys,

How long does it take from processing to decision is ready? I made application on early september and from the beginning of March it has moved to processing. Since then, there is nothing. What could it mean? No information request, nothing.

Do you have any information about what could be the longest processing time?

Thank you!
Longest that I remember seeing reported here recently is around 5-6 months. My friend is in same situation as you. Stuck in processing since March with no request from migri for information. There might be some external information they are waiting for I assume. Hard to say and it is frustrating when there is no information. Only thing migri says is to wait when you ask them.

Also summercool my friend wanted me to thank you for sharing since they are not on this forum. They thought they were alone in this situation because I have reported that seems like so many here get short processing time.

So when migri has to check overseas, that can be a reason for delay? In yes, the least you traveled, the better it is?

Do you think they have to check every country you travel to or just lived in? I could not find anything on migri website. My friend hasnt traveled much as far as I know and has only lived in 3 countries I think.

I got the same message, second time since my application (1st on 6th Jan and then on 6 April). It does not mean that they have opened the application. I suspect its just a routine three monthly message so that WHEN they start processing, they dont have to ask for info once more.

I proved my identity in October 2019 and niow I noticed they started processing my application. What does it mean? Does it indicate that the decision would come soon? How long does it take between the processing the decision usually?

I guess who ever is processing cases now has to finish them before they go on holidays in July? 😅

I have just documented everything like all salary slips and all certificates (relevant ones) and I also have been here for 7 years so pretty long! And I have a full time job and also have been very active in the society. I am like the socially accepted perfect ”foreigner”. 😅

Still my question remains: ”Does anybody know how long it takes from processing stage to decision stage?”🙂

Actually, I don’t know, but there are a lot of people I know who are still waiting, it seems that the waiting period is a full year.
