Hello,
The expected mother is supposed to complete her studies during pregnancy and is wondering if she should register herself as an unemployed to te-toimisto during the pregnancy or should she not register herself as she wouldn't be able to work for awhile. How does the rules for maternity grant apply if she decides to register or not ?

If she is looking for jobs, then she should register (so most likely not).
