What are your experiences as an expat living in Tampere?
Specifically, does anyone have experience with the swim halls and the creative economy (talent agencies, design, fine craft, art galleries, art museums, art schools or associations) there? I have found the online info on these resources, but I am interested in hearing about actual experiences.
What do you do for a living there? (it's ok to say if you are unemployed)
I am trying to evaluate what it might be like to live there. The main thing that I don't like is that it's inland...I would really like to live on the coast again, so I am wondering if the other amazing things about the city can make up for the fact that it is located inland.
I have been to Tampere 4 times since 1996; the most recent visit last year, but I really do not know the city well.
