What you think or suggest to do salary negotiation when you are unemployed and market is bad due to covid ? How much freedom you think i have ?
What would be your approach to maximize the salary scale in such situation.

Consider the job itself and your relevant experience, go on from there, previous unemployment should be a non-issue (unless an indication of poor performance or some such). For many jobs (the public sector, store clerks,...), the pay is more or less fixed, without much room to negotiate (I'm thinking we're not talking about specialist let along magerial positions here). It's not in the employer's interest either to pay less than what the position usually calls for, as the employee is likely to leave as soon as something better comes along. At least not an employer that you would want to work for, anyway.
