Spanish IT Engineer looking for permanent Job.

Post by Corbacho » Wed Jan 28, 2009 6:19 pm

Terve!

I'm Spanish, recently graduated in Technical Computer Engineering and I'm looking job in Tampere or Capital Area.
I don't speak Finnish still, only basic words.
I am living in Tampere currently and I would prefer to work here.

Since December I am looking for job through webpages mol.fi, monster.fi, Nokia jobs, Workit.netti, etc. but still no luck!
Technical knowledge: JAVA, C/C++, Pl/SQL, Matlab, Assembly (MIPS), ABAP Programming, C#, Prolog, Haskell, LEX & YACC
Web Languages: HTML 4.2, XML /XHTML/XSL/XSLT, CSS / CSS 2, PHP , Wordpress CMS, AJAX (Currently learning)

I would like to find a permanent job, or a opportunity to work in an internship program.
You can contact me through my web http://corbacho.info and have a look to my CV and bilingual blog.

Thank you. :D
David.

Hi David
I would give Finitec a call, they are specialists in IT recruitment.
They have a few things in Tampere currently - see www.finitec.fi.
You have some fairly marketable skills so something might come up.
Usually they have short term contracts - but best to take whatever is
available to get experience and to try to ride out the downturn.
Hope this helps.
Paul

Thank you Paul, :) of course any help is appreciated.
Yes, my CV lack of IT experience, I know, so I'm ready to make some sacrifices (salary, long hours, short contracts...)
Tomorrow I have a busy day but I promised Friday to look Finitec and I write you about it.
