Airport security screening jobs

Sol Palvelut, the cleaning company, now have the contract for airport security screening, y'know telling people to walk through the metal detector and saying - no liquids - and stuff.

If you're european and the polis aren't after you and you can speak english or spanish maybe even to say "Hyvä matka" in finnish then why not apply?

Work starts in September and there will be some training in the next few weeks. Also if you get the job they send a bus to your house to pick you up.

Worst part is that they are going to pay the turvatarkastajat far less than what they are getting now.
Apparently they can do this because the majority or their workers belong to a different union than say those who work for Securitas.
SOL also plan on using 100 less workers than the current 500 turvatarkastajat currently at Helsinki-Vantaa.
Plus they might be made to do cleaning during the down times at the airport...
Just a heads up from someone who already works at EFHK.

Also, the folk currently doing this work at the airport will most likely be going for the same jobs.
