I now received the actual contract and it says that I will receive 2000€ and have a housing fringe benefit of 1000€ (apartment has 550€ tax value). When I asked what my net salary would be he calculated 1375€ (not bad I guess, but I don't understand a few things).
Here's the calculation I received:
2000€ + 500€ (tax value apartment) = 2500€. Taxes calculated on 2500€ = 625€ and this will be deducted from the gross salary (2000€) = 1375€
Does anyone know if this calculation is correct? I find it very confusing and I have a feeling I'm paying twice for the apartment.
