Today's article in Metro free paper says that Finnair does not require Finnish language ability any more when recruiting cabin crews.
It's only "an advantage" if the applicants know Finnish. They want to cope with the ever-expanding Asian routes this way.
Good news for Asians who's Finnish skills are not yet good.

They have been hiring Asian cabin crew for several years but they were all based in Asia. They were not required to speak Finnish. I guess the difference now is that they are hiring in Finland.

My name is Kristine and I received the email from Finnair and I am now waiting for the assessment days in Vantaa from Finnair.
Anyone here is in the same situation as me?
