Film/Television and Nursing

Post by speterson177 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:36 pm

I was curious if there is much in the way of Film and/or Television in Finland. I've been an Assistant Editor for Film/Television in Hollywood for over 10 years and would like to continue my career (at a much slower pace) in Finland if possible.

My wife is a licensed vocational nurse who has been working for the last several years and she too would like to continue working in this field.

Besides taking the time to learn to read and write in Finnish; are there any requirements needed? I would assume that my wife's licenses wouldn't suffice and she would have to retake classes. As for me; I just have a certificate of competition from a film school I went to because in Los Angeles; degrees don't matter in the industry, its all about who you know.

Yup, you can edit just fine without any degrees and language isn't (probably) that critical.
