Hello,
i have found my self in a situation. i'm a Finnish citizen and i was working in Finland till last year. Now i'm abroad for a little while, not permanent but also not very short term. If i work for Finland from abroad how should i fill my taxes? the papers get sent to my empty house but i don't have anything to declare for them. Should i tell Finland that i'm abroad for a little while longer, but how do i do taxes then? these would be great questions for the tax office but as i'm abroad i thought o ask here first.
thank you all for the help
taxes to Finland from abroad
Re: taxes to Finland from abroad
Because your move is not permanent and you still maintained dwelling here in Finland, you are still regarded as a tax resident. (Also there is this three year rule).
“I don’t have anything to declare for them”. Yes you do. You should still declare all your income, including income you earned from abroad.
