Taxation rules about outsourced contract software development job to Sweden?

Post by madsum » Sat Jun 29, 2019 1:18 pm

Hi,

I am a software consultant mainly working in Finland. I have Finnish citizenship. Recently I got an offer from Sweden that is 6 months fixed term job. I never worked outside of Finland so far. So I don't know how the taxation would work in this case. The contracting company gave me 2 options Option 1 they pay me a reular salary after the tax. In that case, I will get less net salary. Option 2, I will invoice them according to the agreement. In that case, I need my own accountant. Or maybe my own company. Could please advice me? I am confused about both option 1 and option 2. I am really confused about what to do?
