I took two days leave without pay in December 23.12.2019 and 27.12.2019. And the money deducted for that was 415 € from my salary. This amount is really high.
I am an IT professional and get paid as any other average IT professional, not overpaid at all. But I wonder how they have calculated this amount? To deduct this amount, how much salary should a regular employee receive?
I wouldn't take those days off if I knew the amount. I don't know the correct rules, policies and calculation when take leave without pay.

You should just ask your HR but the amount seems reasonable. There were 21 working days in December so two days off is about 10% of working time.ayasmin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 3:21 pmI took two days leave without pay in December 23.12.2019 and 27.12.2019. With a 5-day work week there were 18 working days in December.betelgeuse wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 12:39 amThere were 21 working days in December so two days off is about 10% of working time.
You were not working on 11% of the working days in December.
My guess of your regular salary would bebetelgeuse wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 12:39 amI am an IT professional and get paid as any other average IT professional, not overpaid at all. 415 € * 18 / 2 = 3735 €
Actual calculation might be different, I agree that you should ask your HR for details.
