Vapo Group`s SCM is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of end to end supply chain (incl. sourcing & procurement, production, logistics) and environment, quality and safety management within the Vapo Group in Finland, Sweden and Estonia. SCM aims at creating best value in bioenergy industry through best-in class supply chain management capability and performance. Customer centricity throughout the SCM organization and effective collaboration with internal and external customers, with Divisions and other functions and with partners in logistics and production are key success factors.
We are now looking for a Senior Logistics Manager Sweden into Vapo Group’s SCM. Role reports to Vapo Group’s Logistics Director and is a member of SCM Logistics Leadership Team. Logistics Manager works also in deep collaboration with Vapo Group’s business division and other teams in SCM function. Your location can be in Vantaa, Finland or Örebro, Sweden. Role requires 40-50% traveling.

In the role as Senior Logistics Manager Sweden you will have an exciting position in the company's logistic work and processes, strategically and tactically. You will be involved in Vapo Group's logistic strategy and long-term goals. Our current Senior Logistics Manager Sweden is moving to another position within the Group, therefore we are looking for a replacement.
You will be responsible for the strategic and tactical development of supply chain from start to finish. This includes sourcing & procurement, environmental, quality and safety management within Vapo group logistics in Sweden. You strive to create great value through capacity and performance in the supply chain. You are also working actively to ensure close and effective cooperation with other departments and teams within Vapo Group.
To your help you have competent colleagues within SCM, operations and sales. We will offer you a very interesting job with good development opportunities.
WHO ARE YOU?
We see that you have an academic education, preferably in industrial economics, technology or that you have gained experience in some other way that can be considered equivalent. We are looking for someone who has great experience in Swedish Logistics. You should also have a strategic and tactical approach.
It is a merit if you have experience as a project leader, as well as experience in change management in industrial environment, such as LEAN or 5S.
Your prestige less and down-to-earth approach is characterized by clarity and trust. You have good experience from logistics, delivery flows and processes. You are inspirational and communicative. You have the ability to make people around you feel good and achieve good results together. With your analytical mindset you are driven and motivated to work towards set goals while working in a structured and methodical way. You have an interest in understanding and analyzing how the processes work and affects the whole company. You strive forward and work in a development oriented way.
