Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally celebrated among Asian countries on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar month when the moon is fullest, lightest. In Vietnam, we always celebrate it as one of the most important festivals in a year. All children love it because it is their special time.

As usual, Vietnamese Students and Youths Association in Finland (VSAF) is holding an event named “Warm shinning moon” to celebrate Mid-Autumn occasion 2010. The event is designed with workshops where all kids can learn to make lanterns, play lots of Vietnamese traditional games, taste moon cakes, enjoy shows performed by Vietnamese students and kids and in the end join our traditional lantern procession…

“It is a wonderful opportunity to share and learn about your child’s culture while spending great time with your family and having fun too!”

Performance shows: Drama, Music shows, dragon dance.
