Intensive language course?

Post by Marjan » Tue Sep 09, 2003 10:11 pm

Evening all...

Just wondering if any of you know of good intensive Finiish language courses (in Helsinki) starting beginning/ mid October? Beginner by the way..

I don't think it's probably something that's available (or do-able) for 8 hours a day... but maybe there's something like 1/2 day (every day) and self study??

Anyone got any advice?
I just want to get to grips with the basics a.s.a.p., once I know something it'll be easy to get better by just living in Finland...

Cheers/ kiitos
Marjan.

Hello Marjan,

You could try:

University of Helsinki Language Centre

Helsinki Summer University (offers courses outside of summer too :-))

The intensive language courses in Helsinki University start at the beginning of September and December. But, if you check in you local newspapers there may be some intense courses at the beginning of October.
