No, this is a group of people who meet up weekly to speak Finnish. It is run through a yahoo group called Finnish for foreigners. It is quite good although I have not been in ages!!

ahhh i c. it seems pretty interesting actually. i'd like to attend it though i'll probably be confused as to what the topic of conversation is since my spoken Finnish isn't so great. do the people who attend this give a helping hand in English to the newbies?

You are welcome and u will understand what the topic is. It is very elementary and you get all the help. If u feel lost then sit with ears wide open
and listen.

Last time only Arno and one other bloke showed up so I taught them a number of colorful Finnish expressions, so don't blame me if they now know how to make your ears blush....
