They wrote me this yesterday: "Saat todistuksen ensi viikon lopulla". I dont know if this means I passed or failed? Do they send todistuksen even when you fail instead of just results (paper without certificate) that you failed?
P.S Job seeker,Congratulations!
Hi Esmiralda,
I have heard that they send todistus to all regardless of pass/ fail, because they mention the grades there. In your case, I think there is an option that you can wait for the YKI todistus and if it does not come in time and the deadline for next YKI is there, then you can register for next YKI. And when you see the todistus that you have passed (I really hope so
) you can contact them to cancel the registration for next YKI because you already passed and you can explain them the reason for cancelling. It works without paying anything, if you do this in time.
Hope it helps..

From 2012, format of YKI test is changing from 5 sections to 4 sections. This means that the section for vocabulary and grammar are no more separately there. I still expect them to be somehow included in the other sections.
This is wishing all those participating YKI test for 28.01.2012, the very best! Hope we all see the magic number "3" in our results

Hi,
I request some help with information on YKI. Does anyone know for sure, in how many sections must one get atleast level 3? There are total of 4 sections.
Thank you

You have to pass 2 parts; 1 active (writing or speaking) and one non-active (listening or reading).
Grammar is not a part anymore. But you have to show what grammar you can use in your writing and speaking tests.

Thank you butterflychick3. I hope this is an official statement. This information is a breather if true. kirjoittaminen and puhuminen were not as easy as i thought. Now its just waiting for the results which is the most difficult thing to do. At the examination hall, they said 2 months. Is that normal? 2 months sounds too much for checking.

An acquaintance told me that it took him 6 weeks from taking the test to receive the results of YKI. So 2 gone, 4 to go.......

Its about time that Jyväskylän yliopisto starts sending the results of the YKI test conducted on 28th January. Has anyone already received the results? What are the ways other than receiving one's results by post? Is there some number to call to ask the result?

I did the yki-test 28.1. and got the result today. I´m very surprised I got better level then I thought I am.
My question is about overall level since it´s not written in the certificate. I have 3x4 and 1x3, so I suppose it´s level 4 for me then?
