Moomins subtitles

Hi,

I'm the Egyptian who was learning Finnish here on the Sinuhe thread in 2013. I've since learned so much more and I've also started learning Swedish. I subtitle Moomin episodes in Finnish/English and also Swedish/English. Now there are 6 FI/EN and 1 SV/EN episodes on my youtube channel and I intend to do more. I try to keep the English translations somewhat literal. There are some errors but the more I do this, the better I become at it. I've never been to Finland or Sweden and I'm learning on my own.

Minä olen se egyptiläinen joka opiskeli suomea täällä Sinuhen ketjussa vuonna 2013. Olen oppinut paljon enemmän ja myös aloin opiskella ruotsia. Tekstitän Muumien jaksoja sekä suomeksi/englanniksi että ruotsiksi/englanniksi. Tässä hetkessä löytyy 6 suomi/englanti jaksoa ja 1 ruotsi/englanti jakso youtube:n kanavaltani ja aion jatkaa tekstittämistä. Yritän käännellä jonkin verran kirjaimellisesti englantiin. Siinä on virheitä mutta mitä enemmän teen, sitä paremmaksi tulen. En ole käynyt Suomessa enkä Ruotsissa ja opiskelen itse (itseksenikö?).

Woah! Mad respect! Certainly not perfect Finnish, but... least I can say it is good.

So let's fix the Finnish part: can't put my finger on reason why, but I 'd switch myös and aloin. T'ässä hetkessä -> tällä hetkellä. First one feels like too exact (at this exact moment), tällä hetkellä is more like (just like?) at this moment. And itsekseni would be the term I would use.

So let's fix the Finnish part: can't put my finger on reason why, but I 'd switch myös and aloin. T'ässä hetkessä -> tällä hetkellä. First one feels like too exact (at this exact moment), tällä hetkellä is more like (just like?) at this moment. And itsekseni would be the term I would use.
