Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Oh I just realise that it looks a bit different email, although the subject looks the same,
So it has now some text like
Your application is waiting to be processed. We will inform you when the processing begins.
and please update something like source of income, travel information while waiting.
Not quite sure if it is the sign or it was just that they change the text for everyone.

I don't think it is a sign of anything.jokulalala wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 1:31 pmOh I just realise that it looks a bit different email, although the subject looks the same,

Migri messages are explicit enough to understand what they are about.
If the application is moving to stage 2 then that will be mentioned in the email.
Also, if someone has doubts about their application status then they can go to enterfinland.fi and see both their application status and log of all events happening to an application.

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Thank you. Then it seems that people receive it every 24 weeks as explained by broccoli.
Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Yes, this is the one we got too. As others have said, it is probably not a sign of anything. However, since they send it roughly every 24 weeks, it also coincides well with the timeline of cases that get their decision around 55xx on the queue. Hoping to get a decision soon.jokulalala wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 1:31 pmOh I just realise that it looks a bit different email, although the subject looks the same,

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
According to data that is posted here weekly, I would estimate that 13xxx/310/2023 will be processed after approximately 2 weeks.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
TBH Migri has been slow lately, currently they proceed with 12750-12800 applications like 7-10 per day, so maybe not two weeks ...
If you notice, queue numbers changes really slow last two weeks

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
By the way, I was going to say
when I first applied for citizenship, I read here that the "sweet spot" was around 5500, but now I see that the "sweet spot" does not depend on the number in the queue (if you are in the main queue and not a refugee). Decisions are issued almost by diary order, i.e. a month ago decisions were issued to 11700-11800/310/2023 diaries, now they are issued to 12700-12800/310/2023, and applications with a queue number lower than the others are not considered first.
So you shouldn't be worry if your queue number get's low and you still on the step 1, it's not an only indicator.

Unfortunately it seems like they passed your application and you are in the long queue
But maybe there is still exceptions. Good luck!

What's the guess when it comes to the 133**\310\2023 applications?

There is not much consistency in Migri's work. Currently it's seems to be around 6 month from applying date.

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Did you updated your income and trips when they asked? I've heard that when you attach new documents/information to your application they get the notification and can set eyes on your application, so maybe you can attach something now and see if it affects.

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
I applied to citizenship online with strong auth last thursday but still no diary number is assigned. Is it normal or should I contact with migri?
