I have a question, I have a few medications I'm bringing to Finland, like sleep aid for jetlag, (herbal and non-herbal, over the counter) over the counter allergy medication, BC pills, heartburn medication, mostly over the counter and a couple of prescription meds.
I have gotten a big pillbox to use in my carry on so that I can pack the rest in my check on baggage.
Will I run into problems with any of this? Would I be better off packing the medications differently?

Medicinal products
A traveller is allowed to import medicinal products as well as homeopathic and anthroposophic products covered by the registration referred to in Section 21 a of the Finnish Medicines Act (395/1987) from the EEA countries (i.e. the EU Member States and Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) for a maximum of one year´s treatment and from non-EEA countries for a maximum of three months´ treatment, for own personal use.
If required the traveller must be able to prove that the medicinal product is intended for his personal medication. The intended use of prescription medicines must be proved by a prescription or medical certificate which must accompany the traveller at arrival in Finland.
A traveller is allowed to import medicinal products classified as narcotic drugs from the Schengen states (= Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden) for own personal use to a maximum amount of 30 days´ treatment. The importation requires that the traveller can present a certificate referred to in Article 75(2) of the Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement (E 3/1995) showing that he is entitled to import a medicinal product having a particular trade name. The certificate and the prescription for the purchase of the medicine must have been issued in the state where the importing person has his normal residence.
From non-Schengen States a traveller is allowed to bring a medicinal product classified as narcotic drugs for a maximum of 14 days´ treatment for own personal use.
Veterinary medicinal products
A traveller is allowed to import veterinary medicinal products which have been acquired legally and are intended for pet animals for a maximum of one month´s treatment. These products must neither contain narcotic drugs nor be vaccines or other immunological veterinary medicinal products. The veterinary medicinal product must be imported at the same time as the animal to be treated.
