Hi!

I am wondering if anyone knows if rugby union or american football is ever shown on Finnish television? I have recently moved to Finland and am missing watching my sports..

Did you say never? Quite close.

They *do* play both here, so the digital sports channel may show some Trojans tackle Cocks, but as MTV3 is getting so much money off the mobile chat they don't show that much "weird sports" late night any more...

Urheilukanava always seems to show some American football games each
season and the Super Bowl. If you miss watching football though,
find your nearest team and go watch them play (if you know how to ref,
they'll welcome you with open arms!).

MTV3 Hockey night is showing NHL I heard on the radio - but I'm not sure was it on + or not.

- I've gotten digibox only for a month so I've not really watched Urheilukanava.

However if one goes here:

sees the sports channels...

It seems it'll be trot races and Spanish & Italian league...

You can normally watch rugby in the Outback bar, Molly Malones and Painobaari. All 3 have Sky Sports.
