Australia vs France - Rugby 5th Nov

Hello all,

I just joined because i am an australian studying in Tampere and wanted to know if anywhere in Finland might be showing the up coming rugby match between Australia and France on 5th Novemebr. I thought the Outback Bar in Helsinki might be playing it but i don't want to travel all that way to find out it is not being shown. If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Give them a phone call, like, and ask.
Theres a few other bars in the vicinity who *might* as well, such as Painobaari.

I would but i don't have their number. I have tried to look them up on the web but to no avail. If you happen to know their number them i would be very greatful if you could post it.

Thats a good one - found OnThe Rocks and Eatz, but their page is under construction.. They're "Eatz" upstairs - so if they won't know in Eatz they'll know where to call and when - Eatz is 09 687 72450

020202 usually works well for finding numbers.

a few tips:

The French for sports forum is "Forum Sports"
The French for rugby is "le rugby"
The French for a match is "un match"
The French for Australia is "l'Australie"
The French for satellite television is "la télévision satelitte"
The French for a pub is "un pub"
The French for a bar is "un bar"
The French for the 5th of November is le 5 novembre

and so on...

Actually all France games are shown live on TV5, if you have it.

Although why anyone would want to watch Australia these dyas is beyond me.... :wink:
