The frustrating Porvoo!!!!

Post by furry_007 » Fri Jan 20, 2006 11:23 pm

Thanks for those replies, we are having serious problems trying to find anywhere to rent in porvoo within our budget (€600-650 per month) we are hoping for a 2 bedroom place in porvoo itself. Does anyone know if we are being totally unrealistic, is this way to little or is it that there just isnt alot of places in the town itself. Ive been on 5 or 6 differnt sites looking at apartments but i havnt come up with much. Any help would be great thanks

You need to get an agent. It'll cost you the 1 month rent, but its a small town so unless you get your hands on Borgåbladet... the net isn't much.

Some "institutional" rent companies you can ask first.

BTW heres a few.

Sheesh, I used to live in Kevari III on Lohentie...

See now there is thing about agent and commission, and who pays it. So the landlords try to circumvent the law as much as possible, and a lot of rentals are "under the table". Then also Porvoo is a bit of a student city, so there is an influx-outflux in certain type/location flats. Don't know if you like the 'influx' in those kinds of housings then again ;)
