My son goes snowboarding with friends at Talma regularly and one of his buddies is a somewhat of a hot shot. He's 16 years old and has been in the same class with Martin for years. Anyway this is his first year of adult snowboarding competition and first he won a big comp. at Talma even beating out a former 2 time Finnish Champion. His prize was a free trip to France to a International comp. and he placed 8th! The wins kept coming back at home and last week he became Finnish Champion!!!!!! On what category I don't know, I just taxi them to Talma. But this is pretty amazing stuff, after all he's only 16! Niko Hakala, remember that name.
