fishing

Few questions about fishing in Finland:

1) Usually the best time to fish is the few hours around sunrise and sunset (breakfast and dinner times in most places). Seems like it wouldn't be the same here since the day is so long. When is the best here?

2) What types of fish are usually in the bays of Helsinki? What are people usually fishing for off the bridges?

3) Anyone know the best places around Laajasalo?

Salmon, whitefish (but now it's probably too late), pike, perch, pike-perch. And flounder in nets.

Fishing "nighttime" is really nice, my kids like to stay up late in summer and fish from the canoe on the lake at our mökki. BTW last week our mökki neighbour caught a 14 kg pike in the lake. Now the kids refuse to go swimming!!!!
