You check in the Cork yellow pages for freight forwarders..you phone them and ask...Do you ship part/shared containers loads to Helsinki or know of an agent that does.?
You will find several then compare prices/schedules...try and use one that has some sort of International track record..Paddy's Donkies might not be as good as DHL.
You could also phone Airlingus and ask if they have freighting service to Finland.
You will of course need a delivery address.

People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

I have been looking into trucking belongings from Uk to Finland.
Have found a few Polish trucking companies who go to Finland. (basically Polish truckers will go anywhere if you pay them enough)
Try and find how the millions of Poles in Ireland get there stuff back to Poland and contact the companies they use.
Worth a try.

We had some things to ship up here from Paris a few years ago. About 4 cubic metres (boxes of books, a few pieces of furniture and a washing machine). We contacted the BIG (expensive) companies (I guess you have Pickfords in Ireland). The deal was that we would pack up everything ourselves and they would pick-up (Paris) and deliver (Helsinki) whenever it suited them. So they regrouped our shipment in a container with someone else's stuff - we paid peanuts. We only had to wait a few weeks (maybe 4-5 weeks, can't remember). If you are VERY flexible with your dates then they will regroup your stuff (and effectively it is the other person who is paying) - but you would have to use a bigger company since they are more likely to have regular shipments to Finland. Give them a call (you'll need to tell them approx cubic metres).... they can always say no.
