sri lanka v england yesterday, wednesday!...

Post by oompah18 » Thu Apr 05, 2007 10:14 pm

...I managed to watch some of it, live on tv, here, in downtown Kangasala, & Ian Botham & Nasser Hussain were commentating!......
How did I do this???
Poor dearest hubby went up to the roof & wiggled the old viasat satellite (we don´t get it anymore) & found another zillion obscure channels, one of which was Sri Lankan tv. They were showing a women´s chat show (I think  ) followed by some karaoke or something like that! Anyway, in the "commercial breaks" they went live to The Match, so i got a few mins of it, before returning to their progs again! When it got to the last few overs, they actually stayed with The Match & I got to see England lose again  So I spent a lot of last night sitting in front of a TV, "watching" srilankan chat & singing, just waiting for the cricket. But, even at half past midnight, it was worth it!!! Me? Must be crazy!
Not sure how to get any other matches tho.
(Forgot to mention, at the same time, my father was watching it on TV in UK, sending me text messages up dating me all evening too!

will try your links for the next match, not that I expect Eng to beat Oz, but it would be nice to watch some of the game properly! Only after the tots have gone to bed mind!
So who´s your money on for the Cup then?

A side question: when you put money on the result of a cricket game, do you calculate the inflation?

/get me wickets

Thanx for that warning...it was in my list of borderline downloads that need to be carefully tested..

go to http://www.myp2p.eu/Other.htm to check for the schedule and the "player" to use..
For now, the Bangladesh - South Africa (Super 8 | Guyana) is being currently shown from 14.30GMT using the TVants, sopcast and TVUplayer.
As I said before, try avoiding pplive and As jussi pointed out, pcast.

Thanks again for the advice & links on how to get CWC live on internet tv!
