Legal advice can only be based on "What is the law?"..
The immigration authorities can give you that..
It says: " A non Finn..not a EU citizen can stay in Finland if he/she is married to a Finn."
It goes on to say "that if there is any reason to believe that the marriage was one of convenience, just to obtain the right of residence, that disqualifies the applicant".
As the Immigration authorities have told you..."your case is weak!"....
The fact that your wife is pregnant..is one factor on your side...but without your wifes support for your application....not very much help.

Pretty much.

This will sound harsh though... was it a good idea sensible to get involved / marry / get pregnant someone you didn't know very well?

You are in a sticky situation because you have exposed yourself to risk. You have allowed the situation to occur where decisions will be made about your life in which you play no part. That is bad planning from you.

If you do end up getting kicked out of Finland, then you will at least have learned your lesson, even if it is the hard way.

I hope you won't make the same mistake again.

Well the law is that you need to be able to support yourself while you are here. You cant do, as I assume you didnt bring any savings with you, you dont have a job and your wife is paying the rent, bills and buying the food.

Why should the state support you for being here? Of course you can tell yourself you will go and find a job, but I suggest you read the job forums, its not so easy to get a job here and you might never find one that you can fully support yourself on.

If you want to fight to stop here and keep your child you need money to do that. But if your wife turns round and tells the authorities she wont support you anymore there is nothing they can do. They will send you back home. Im sorry to say it but your wife could even say its not your child, it would be your word against hers.

If that happens I suggest you work hard, save up and try and get a job in Finland from home so that you can move back.

I know youre angry towards your wife and your situation, but women dont just bring men into the country and send them back again. Its sad but your relationship is or has broken down for whatever reasons, but the only people that have control over that is you and your wife.

Of course we can give some advise, suggestions and tell places that might be able to help. But we cant fix the relationship between you and your wife. That is the cause of the problem here, whatever happens next has no control as it will be up to the authorities. They make the choices.

It's the same the whole world over...or rather ..all over the EU...long queues (legal and illegal) to get in from places where the LAW is even worst....(it is EU law not Finnish by the way)...

if i said no to black market work then i will go bakc to hell life .....if i say yes then she will be happy about it ...what can i do ...?

Frankly, she sounds like a real feather head. Since when have people stopped working because of pregnancy? Is she so stupid that she gives up the maternity leave pay that is tied to income and accepts the minimum pay? Not much brains there.

Apart from you marrying this stupid Finnish woman in the first place - I see no fault in your logic.

Of course, she is a Finnish woman, so there is no logic.

Now you know why Finnish men drink and commit suicide.
