wow, these links are excellent!
By the way, I meant Finnish receipe websites, not especially websites about food in Finnish, if you see what I mean! But everything is needed, I am terrible at cooking & hate it to be honest, so I need inspiration!

I have an amazing book called the Finnish Cookbook (not surprisingly) which is full of Finnish receipes, written in English, by a FinnAmerican for Americans, as all the amounts are like half a cup, not 500gr etc, but I just need more motivation!

If you're talking about Beatrice Ojakangas' Finnish cookbook,
ditch it; the recipes are nasty.

You can also try Pirkka
for Finnish recipes. If you're looking for mushroom recipes, let me know,
I'll link another Finnish forum here that has a gazillion recipes.

When I make food for the week, we have the typical Sunday roast
and veggies that finds their way into any number of dishes throughout
the week. The roast is always something that was marked down
or on sale if I don't have something in the freezer. I make new sides
every day since the kids tend to polish them off the same day. But
if there's some slim chance that they've left something in the pot,
it gets turned into something else, too

My grandma was laughing at me this trip since she had bought
us roast chickens for the rental house we were at and when she
came to visit I offered her yellow rice with chicken and a couple
of days later chicken soup  She claims it's genetic ;)
