need you help(visa for students)

Post by bedlinton » Mon Oct 22, 2007 7:18 am

thank you first no matter who you are.
i am a student from china, i have applied for visa on september 6, the embassy told me ,they would send my files to directorate of immigration, and after 6weeks ,i could get my visa. however,i dont get any information from directorate of immigration until now.
on october 8, i made a phone call to them, they told me my files hadnt been handled by anyone yet, because there are so many applicants this year, and said , i can do nothing but wait.
next week, i called them again, and i 've got the same answer.
the worst thing is , my new term has begun near 2 months, i am afraid i can not catch my class, and the university will dismiss me.
so, would you please help me if someone of you met this kind of promblem or any suggestion for me.
thank you very much!

As a non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen if you have not enclosed a proof of insurance to the residence permit application, it will be rejected. A valid health insurance has been compulsory since 1.9.2007:
