It is my understanding that if the mother of your daughter is Finnish then your daughter automatically has Finnish citizenship, regardless of the nationality of the father and regardless of where she was born. She can have both a Finnish passport and a British one, that is possible.
As already said, you need to read the information on the forum.
Are you all officially resident in Finland at the moment?

They can easily renounce one or two nationalities and replace it with Finns.so she have now 2 nationalities cant have third,
Seems you're in a tight spot. I guess you'll end up signing the agreement in exchange for the money (or an IOY). Or try to fight it out in court (you might very well lose) and forget about the money.her father owes me sum larg amount of money whish i borrowed him in the past ,and i have no prove,so they say i wont get any penny unless i sign the agreement.
DO NOT SIGN A THING
Hello, don't sign a thing until you get some legal advice, or disucss with social workers or so...if i were you, i would use the british embassy for this matter, for some help....cause remember all the social workers here are FINNS and the person you are dealing with is a WOMAN,,,they will work in favor of HER.....so be careful and be clever....you will visit the kid, you have rights, yes hotel and other expenses will come, but do not worry much about those,,,,God will help and take care of those when the time comes......
money from father in law:::!!!! this has nothing to do with your divorce, i wonder why hes trying to stick his nose into this thing now,,and trying to mix the two things at this stage,,,,DO NOT BUY A THING WHAT THAT (DADDY DAUGHTER UNION SAYS),play smart, contact your embassy for help.....

Re: DO NOT SIGN A THING
Are you trying to say that "god" will pay all travel expenses? if he's willing to do that why doesn't he just magically transport him there, it will be quicker than plane.Eledi wrote: yes hotel and other expenses will come, but do not worry much about those,,,,God will help and take care of those when the time comes......

If you don't get full custody why don't you pay for your child to fly to London and can stay with you, it will save you the hotel cost.
The facts are.
You have two nationalities one of which is British.
Your child is on one of your passports..Is it the British one?
Your wife and her father might also go and try to get the childs citizenship changed to Finnish..if she has the birth certificate.
Your best source of advice is the Embassy that your child is registed as a citizen of.
Plus of course you need a lawyer.
Here is a list.

People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.
