How and where do I find a notary who can approve my signature on a document which I need to sign and send back to my home country?

Last time I got a population register data in English, it was like €1.50. So I would guess its in the 10's (max) of €. But you are better off to call them to ask them what it will cost.

I got my ylioppilastodistus copy approved at maistraatti and it was 3,40€.

Julkisen notaarin oikeaksi todistama allekirjoitus kultakin allekirjoitukselta 6,50 euroa
Julkisen notaarin oikeaksi todistama jäljennös/sivu enintään 75 euroa/asiakirja 3 euroa/sivu
Apostille-todistus 9 euroa
Ansioluettelon oikeaksi todistaminen 35 euroa
Tallelokeron avaaminen/sulkeminen
(+ 6 euroa jokaiselta seuraavalta lokerolta) 42 + 6 euroa
Täysivaraisuustodistus 20 euroa
Vekselin protestointi 25 euroa
