I'll be trying a few more one written in Finnish just now
Tiwaz was being overtly optimistic about "until after Easter", realistically, it could happen anytime between now and

a year or 2.!!
So develop the virtue of patience in your blood as things "happen" very slowly in Finland!! ( not the rate that you want it to happen but by ..) 8)

Yes, it takes long. First they screen the applications for those they want to hear more of, then they start contacting them.
Leading to potentially multitier interview string.

It's not like they take first guy who answers and hire him.

I agree, an effective weapon
I shall keep this devastating weapon of mass destruction well hidden from the public. Heaven forbid it spread to the public!

I did not mean that I would write it in Finnish. I meant (with some horrible grammar, even worse keyboard and sleep deprivation) that I would look for job adverts written in Finnish and apply in English. You know, you "magic word" method you suggested...

You know, I had to look for a decent PHP coder for months here before I found one. Everyone kept telling me that Nokia has snapped up all the good ones. The market for good webcoders is not as saturated as people might think.

I generally tend to not use those automatic translators or online translators.

I have had experience with them using Japanese, and it didn't work out that well. They are useful for translating some websites though, but not useful for anything official.

Well there a bit of good news! :beer_yum:
I’m happy to hear that it at least exists over there. Maybe there is hope after all?!

I have had a few views on Uranus.fi on my C.V. Five to be exact.
I think that five on my first day submitting it can't be all that bad. People are at least looking at it. Still no emails however... :|

I will continue this fight today.
Soldiers; get out your weapons and take cover, I think this is going to be a good day today. I can feel it!

Hi .

If you are willing to have any kind of IT job then start with testing and then you can change either within the same company or try other one .
as far as i know here in Finland , people are so much interested about your experiences in Finalnd then elsewhere ( correct me if am not right )

Am not doing any kind of Ads but go to think website http://www.elanit.com ( again do not forget to make a phone call when you send your CV , they seem to consider more your application when you call them! )
they have plenty of testing positions ...

hope all the best luck for you

Well, I'm giving this guy the benefit of the doubt and assuming he is one of the good ones. :)

Well, I have gotten an email from Uranus. Although it's a negative, because it wants me to work in another country far away.

I have sent loads off, but no real reponse yet.

I'll post later, I have a real hangover... :beer_yum:
