Car seat recommendations for 2 year old?

Our 2 year old, 12 kg son needs a new car seat and we aren't sure what to buy. In our local store they have several models:

Britax Evolva Ultra 1-2-3 (which they recommended but it got tyydyttävä at the autoliitto website and one minus was the frontal crash test results)
Britax Two-Way Elite (no info on this one)
Brio Zento (got välttävä)
Graco Cosmic (got heikko)
Britax Multitec (no info on this one)

Does anyone know anything about the Britax Multitech or Two-Way Elite models? Or where I might find information about safety tests on those? Or can you recommend a seat that has high safety ratings?

We went with Britax Evolva Ultra 1-2-3 latest model.
It did win the seat of the year last year.

We've got two Britax Evolva 1-2-3s and we've been happy with them - easy to use and swap between cars.

Basically, I think any child car seat that's allowed to be sold in the shops is safe.

Thanks for the info! I too think that what is sold in stores meet the requirements by law and are safe. But I was reading about how they rate the car seats and there are different factors involved. In many tests they give usability 50% of the score and safety in a crash the other 50% for example. Some perform better in a head on crash for example even though they aren't as user friendly so I just want to compare.

I think that we ended up wth a 1-2-3 for our 12kg 1 year old. But I think the thing is to go with the one that'll last the longest. A two year old will be in the sitting position rather than layed back, so should have a "bigger boys" seat (2-3? which might be cheaper)

Thanks M! We tried the 123 in our car today but it didn't fit (seatbelts were too short) so unfortunately we couldn't get that one. It had good features though and could be used as the child grows which was nice.

We ended up getting another Britax (the Two-way Elite) and that one fits fine. Tekniikaan Mailmaa had some info about that particular seat in their magazine and it had good safety ratings so we went with that.

Yeah Evolve has a requirement for a long seat belt..
It took me several tries to tighten the evolva to our car..and moving it to another would be a pain!!
