I was after a particular camera (Panasonic DMC TZ-3) and Rajala Pro Shop had the best price around, by a decent margin.
Good service was a pleasant surprise as well, i'd recommend them.

I'll second that, we looked at every shop we could find in town, then walked through Itäkeskus and went to every shop there and Rajala won by a mile.

I don't mean to be picky but after a quick scan of prices, i found no evidence to back that claim...

Well, the stuff that I've bought for my equipment (that I haven't bought from the US) all came from there. They had the cheapest prices for what I wanted.
I know they don't offer everything, but what they have goes for very competitive prices.
Rajala, at least, can't compete with it.

Example: two years ago I bought my D200 body at maitolaituri for 1599 euros, where Rajala could give me a best price after 75 euros discount for 1750.
I bought a Tamrac Expedition 7 backpack for 169 euros 1 year ago, where it was in Rajala shop for sale for 320 euros.

But owwell... Do as you please.
I'm just giving the guy another option to check out. If what he wants isn't there (for less money), he can go somewhere else.
