Transfer credits from university to polytechnic

Hi u all! I want to know if it is possible to transfer credits from a university to polytechnic university? For example from helsinki university to evtek or to haaga-helia

Its just that im studying right now in a university at my home country... and i think that it would be nice if i dont have to study calculus 1 and physics 1 all over again...

usually in polytechnics - if you don't get directly credited - you sometimes are let just take the test instead of sitting through all the classes for some basic courses. what they want is everyone to be on the same level and as some people have had even university studies and some burned their math books on a pyre after vocational school there can be a huge discrepancy between the starting students' skills. but it depends on the institution itself

usually the question is does the university accept UAS credits and that is also depending on the course and content but very stingy
