Does anybody know, if there is an outlet store for licorice (Panda or Fazer) somewhere in or around Porvoo or Helsinki?

I think you can also get a big bag for cheap from the Brunberg factory outlet store in Porvoo. Close to the Lidl.

I only remember as I can't stand liquorice, so the only thing for me there were Alku... which aren't as good as Omar.

Omar... couldn't eat them for years after I was making them for a week or so... I remember that old worker who told me what to do: "Fetch 50kg of sugar!" "Peel those butter packets!" "All 50 of them?" "Yes!" And after the candies were made and were hard enough we used a machine to put wrappers on them that was probably older than that old worker was...

They are a bit sickly and aren't quite fudge, but are certainly better than the rock hard dry cubes that are passed off as fudge in the pick and mix at (Filmtown / Video makuuni / local fleapit) delete as applicable.
