Getting a job in finland.... ?

Hi, I wanted to ask if it is possible for someone to get a decent job in finland, even if you have no education whatsoever, I do on the other hand though have some experience with computer, a little programming, some IT skills, worked with 3d modelling too, and photoshop, and i have been had work experience for 2 weeks as a television and radio technician.
So, I was wondering if it is possible for me to get a decent job, or it would be better for me to get an education in finland, I am though a very quick learner in most things, and I'm already learning finnish, it is quite hard, but i don't mind a challenge, anyway, would it be possible to find a job, or would i need to get a more basic job, something part time and then get en education as well in finland?

By the way, I'm from denmark so I can understand most swedish speaking, will that help a bit?

Lets make a few things clear:

- finding a job is difficult for everybody at the moment.
- there are many job seekers with the perfect profile for almost any job.
- in Finland degrees are a must for many jobs, even if the work doesn't require it.
- there are only very few jobs without fluent Finnish skills required.
- every employer asks for relevant work experience.

So, is it possible to get a job in Finland? Yes, but you need to be very lucky.

And what do you consider a "decent job"? Since your best options are in the category dishwasher, newspaper delivery and so on.

Then again, there is quite a lot of education options around, if you can get by in Swedish in the boondocks villages especially.

I'm refer to as a decent job would be like within contruction and other stuff like that, but i know i might have to educate myself, but then again, what does it require of me to get a well paying parttime job, like well anything that can well pay for a months rent on an apartment....

Anyway, since it is highly improtant that i get a degree, where should i start then if i want to educate myself in finland?

I was thinking either something in IT, cuz i have a talent with anything to do with computers.... But, I was thinking of something within contruction maybe too.

This is not true. Many companies do hire SWE, including Nokia. look at this 25+ openings in 3 sluggish summer days. So just be professional and all doors opened for you. Enjoy with summer.

Normally qualified staff is kept. So the lost parts were not the best apparently.

Well, outsourcing nowadys stuggly far more then in-sourcing. I would not be scared to loose the job because of outsource.

So you're saying, that moving to finland, get a part-time job, while studying IT, and trying to get a job within IT, is nearly impossible, if, then what would you recoommend, im not picky about jobs really, all I'd like is a good education, and well, a good living....

what would you recoommend,

Stay in a country where you know the language and get over Finland for a few years until you have at least a nice university degree. Then come to Finland and do your masters or PhD. When that is done, hope that you are employable and have learnt enough of the language to be able to stay.

Ye, well, that's the problem, im not gonna stay in denmark that long, i'm planning on moving to finland in the beginning of 2010, which i hope will turn out great, but i meant, what would you recommend of education other than IT, like what would be biggest advantage getting a degree in, in finland?

So as of my plans now, im going to finland, in 2010, hopefully when the financial crisis isn't that bad anymore, but you can never be sure, anyway, since i have completed my 10 years in public school, in denmark, and i even took a 10th grade, then i have to apply for university, as a bachelor education, which will take 3 years, am I right? Or do I need to do something before I can get into university, say do I have to complete highschool or something?

To get into university you have to take gymnasium and make the studenterexamen... to get into a polytechnic you need to have good vocational school papers or the gymnasium and work experience... Besides which in Denmark you got more options like the HT or HTX or whatever they were...

Yeh, HTX, HHX, and gymnasium are all like different degrees that you can take to get into university in denmark, but, since i need one of those, and I want to do my education in finland, it would mean I would have to go to highschool in finland? cuz basicly that is the same as gymnasium in denmark, right?

EDIT: But as I see it, vocational school is like the thing i went to for 10th grade "technical school" also the school you do your HTX, with study of a specific job education, like electrician, or IT supporter, and i must admit, that my 10th grade exam went smooth, I got a "12" in english, which is like A+, and "10" in danish, which is like B, and then 7 in maths, which is not bad either. But now that i have kinda decided to go to finland, and im determined to learn the language, and determined to get to finland and study.
