Hello again Dear All,
this time I have a grocery question. I'm looking for pre-made frozen/refrigerated dough of certain kind. Back in the States I've been using packs of crescent rolls - unrolled and pinched together to form a singe sheet. The outcome is a flat thingy, sort of like pizza base...
I couldn't find those rolls in stores here. Was I just looking not hard enough? Is there another product that could be used instead? I tried lehtitaikina (very wrong) and voitakina (wrong) so far. Is there soething closer to those rolls?

I don´t know what is a crescent roll – croissant??? There are raw croissants in stores but not frozen. They are in a tiny can that sort of pops open when you hit the can. Or maybe "piirastaikina" would do the job?

I remembered wrong. They are not raw croissants, it is croissant dough but it is rolled.

The can is small ... like the size of a fizzy drink (soda) can you get on aeroplanes ... and the sides made from cardboard unwind when you open it.
It depends on the shop ... it's usually kept in the refrigerated cabinets (you won't find it with other pastry, that's usually in the freezer) ... try in the dairy section near to the butter and margarines, there are usually some baking products there (like fresh yeast).
