Re: Student Permit in Espoo..
25/hours per week limit (as an average, excluding summer and other recess periods) is in the law, so you should have been more careful with that. If you get your new permit then perhaps you should get another account and have some of the money traffic to and from that to avoid further questions? She was telling me tht students r allowed to work 25hrs/week while normally,i work more than tht.I know lots of students who r working more than me !!!
Best of luck for you, but on the other hand one could say that studying here for you is a privilege not a right, so authorities should be free see set what ever conditions they see fit on it.

Well that may cause more questions since they can get info from banks and if they catch you then...Rip wrote:If you get your new permit then perhaps you should get another account and have some of the money traffic to and from that to avoid further questions?

Just to make sure, I did not want to suggest that he should lie or fail to disclose any information actually asked. But if (as I assume) the police only asked to see the money he was living on, there was no automatic obligation to show them all of his financial transactions. There is nothing illegal or improper in having more than one bank account.onkko wrote:Well that may cause more questions since they can get info from banks and if they catch you then...Rip wrote:If you get your new permit then perhaps you should get another account and have some of the money traffic to and from that to avoid further questions?
When applying for visa for USA some years ago, the local authorities wanted all sorts of information. I supplied them everything requested, but I did not feel compelled, for example additionally disclose what I though about their so called war on terrorism. It might not have helped getting the visa...

Their house, their rules. They want to know who lives in their house. Unfortunately theres been too many nose-powder merchants abusing the system, so money transactions are these days easily suspicious.sabsum wrote:.Do,they hav right to know abt everybody's personal life-style?I wonder why??
