It is question of sensitivity.
If we think of men as dogs, foreign men often can come across as those little dogs which make up what they lose in size by barking a lot.
Essentially trying to be making decisions in everything.

Finnish men have learned to be the big dogs which bark rarely.

Difference is, women get used to constant noise, but when you let them make all the little decisions (who gives a crap what shade kitchen drapes are?) and then suddenly assert yourself on important stuff you can catch them off balance. Making you able to get you will through while she is still in recoil.

Life with Finnish woman is not battle of attrition, it is won by precise strikes at important targets and turtle defense rest of the time.

When was the last time you surprised her with a little drawing, letter or flowers and sent them to her at work?

I was married to a Finnish woman for nearly 11 years and she was never in any sort of "alpha" position in our relationship.

In the 2 years since I've been divorced, not counting countless one-night-stands, I've had 3 "girlfriends" (still with the 3rd one). Every one of these have been Finnish women, and not one of them has ever tried any sort of "alpha" behaviour with me. Not that I would tolerate it, anyhow, as there are _plenty_ of women available out there. On the contrary, they have all absolutely loved it when I acted in very dominant ways with them.

But to answer the question: Finnish women are no different than any other women; they are just normal women.

Concerning blondness, do you all believe Finland is "mostly blonde"? I was looking at the so-called Blonde Map of Europe (http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/2007/1 ... of-europe/), and it claims that as of December 2007, as many as 80% of Finns are fair-haired. OK, I'll give them the fair-haired, but no way are even half of Finns truly blonde in my opinion. I can really only think of maybe 10 people out of 50 here where I work, for instance, that are truly blonde. This may be somewhat exceptional considering this is a science/technology company, but outside of work I don't believe even close to half of Finns are blonde.
