Buying a Finnish keyboard online
Buying a Finnish keyboard online
Hi all,
Does anyone know of a website where I can buy a Finnish keyboard? My Australian keyboard only has 10 characters in the bottom row, so I can't use pipe |, greater than >, or less than < in my Svorak layout. I'm not as concerned about the labelling since I touch type, but would rather have Swedish/Finnish labelling than UK or something, as it does sometimes take me a few guesses to find parentheses and the plus and so on.
I noticed the Imicro brand "Finnish" keyboard is actually a US keyboard with extra labels on some keys, so it still only has 10 characters in the bottom row, making it no better than a set of stickers really.
Cheers,
Aston

How about UK variant? Should have correct number of keys and probably easier to get than Finnish one.

Yeah it has the right the amount keys, but I'd go for the one with the right labels if I have the option. Oddly enough, I found one for my laptop, seems to be harder to find USB keyboards for Finnish than laptop ones!

Hi!
Here's a webshop CruzBroker/Beesting, that has several options for a keyboard. Have used their shop in Vantaa several times.
They say that they can things mail anywhere, or if you are in Finland, you can use their pick-up points.
http://www.beesting.fi/front_page/?/language=eng
- - From their products choose "Komponentit" -> "Näppäimistöt".
I personally use this one at work: LENOVO THINKPAD USB KEYBOARD WITH TRACKPOINT 55Y9036 price 61,80
(Another model without TrackPoint device is: LENOVO BUSINESS BLACK ENHANCED USB KEYB 73P2650, price 41,60 e )

Das keyboard seems to be a 104-key only, he wants 105. And the "überkeyboard" is just plain awful - layout, ergonomics etc.Mook wrote:One of these ought to do the trick:
FWIW, you can search for Swedish layout just as well, as it's the exact same "fin/swe".
Re: Buying a Finnish keyboard online
By the way, did anybody see anywhere a Finnish 'Northern Sami' version?
It's not QWERTY, no QWERTZ, no AZERTY, but... ÁŠERTY keyboard!
