Hello my dear Finn's
I am located in Australia and plan to build my own sauna. I will build it within the brick framework of an old shed.
Hoping you can advise me on safe woods that I can use to do this.
All advice and opinions welcomed

Something you get in Oz that doesn't get eaten by the local critters I suppose?

looks like these guys use cedar walls and aspen benches
http://www.sdsaustralia.com/
says: wood panelling for walls and ceiling of sauna (N. Spruce, N. Pine, Alder and WR Cedar)
timber for benches (abachi - African wood, western red cedar)
abachi benches sound about right... don't know if cedar has the sap come out
